Project Scope:
- Identify strategic source for production of two product lines (Fuel and Hydraulic tank)s for a leading OEM within the Yellow goods market, by evaluating the technical and commercial risks to find most suitable partnership
- Develop contract terms between client and supplier ensuring the risk is mitigated
- Assist in developing a technical transition document capturing product tribal knowledge
- Translation of technical specifications and standards from the clients systems into the suppliers ensuring the exact requirements of the client are documented and understood by the supplier.
- Comprehensive Project Management and planning service; including resource management from clients internal activities through to the suppliers actions.

Activity:
- Central and Easter European supply chains evaluated for our client from over 150 potential suppliers.
- Feasibility report provided identifying potential partners including:

- Full RFQ process managed by RCL providing proposed solution
- 2 week sabbatical from RCL engineer into clients facility to document “tribal” knowledge and translate inspection standards and procedures as necessary
- “Lean Manufacturing” development of clients existing facility in preparation for transfer to reduce direct labour costs for both client and supplier (eliminate Non-Value-Added)
